Transfer your old reels of 8mm and 16mm film to DVD and DVA - the Digital Video Archive Cloud

You've run across old family home movie reels - perhaps in your attic, closet, or basement. Maybe you found them at your Mom and Dad's home. An aunt or uncle may have asked you to find a suitable place to get those movies transferred. Perhaps you shot them or maybe they were passed on to you. You may have never seen them or maybe it's been decades. All you know is that they're precious - a treasure waiting to be opened. We can help you open and enjoy your treasure – your treasured memories.

Home Video Studio is at your service! We've been in the business of transferring film for over thirty years. We like film. We understand it. We're not the cheapest. We're not the most expensive. We are the best. We have a committed passion for transferring motion picture film.

We operate with the most qualified motion picture Film Transfer Artists available, all of them with degrees in film and video technology. With combined decades of experience our staff is trained to get the best possible images of your home movies.

Important Points...

Scanning your old film has never been better. With HD Digital Scanning equipment you can rest assured you are getting the best scan of your original film available.
Primary and secondary color correction guarantees the most vivid color available for your film.

"We've been in the business of transferring film for over thirty years. We like film. We understand it."

We exclusively use Flashscan MWA Nova HD Digital Film Scanners for 8mm and Super 8mm Transfers. These are German engineered and built with sprocket-less drives. This means a steady image. No jumping or jerky motion inherent in sprocket machinery. Damaged sprockets and shrunk or warped film is no problem.
Laser frame alignment and 3-chip cameras ensure complete frame capture. None of your image will be cropped.
16mm Home Movies

If you have sound film you're in for a double treat with the best in sound-on-film capture.

We include a FREE music track. We think music adds life to home movies so we offer, if you wish, free background music arranged specifically for our film transfers.
